Shazam teamed up with the Today Show for the Summer Concert Series, delivering an innovative, tech-driven experience that enhanced fan engagement. Aligning with Shazam’s well-established Songs of the Summer predictions, the campaign offered concertgoers exclusive artist content tailored to each performance.
Through geofencing technology, fans at the concerts could Shazam within the area and unlock exclusive, never-before-seen content. Depending on the artist—such as Halsey, Harry Styles, or Shania Twain—users gained access to special footage, intimate interviews, BTS clips, favorite song picks, and interactive fan moments. This partnership helped create a deeper connection between the artists and their audiences, while transforming a typical live performance into a fully immersive experience.
I worked closely on the integrated marketing team, overseeing the content creation, storytelling, and real-time execution, ensuring the seamless integration of Shazam’s technology into the concert series. This strategy not only enhanced the live experience but also extended engagement beyond the event, allowing fans to share their exclusive content and keep the conversation going on social media.
